GENERAL FAQ'S

Evolution Shocks & Struts

Our Evolution product line consists of over 1,350 sku's (and counting), for thousands of applications for domestic & imported cars and SUVs.
Quicker service bay turnaround time for spring/strut jobs. Installation is quicker and safer, with no expensive tools. Preassembly means you get it right the first time! ...No chance of any missing parts.
Hard-chrome plating on piston rods is used to protect hydraulic cylinders against corrosion and wear that can rub against the seal in high-friction environments. With time, the presence of corrosion on certain piston rods can create an abrasive effect, destroying the seal, thus allowing the oils and gases to escape.
Phosphate coating is a crystalline conversion coating that is formed on a ferrous metal substrate. The phosphation process relies on the basic pickling reaction that occurs on the metal substrate when the process solution comes in contact with the metal. This coating is employed for the purpose of pretreatment prior to painting, increasing corrosion protection and improving friction properties, while maintaining a clean esthetic look.
